Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

At Northlake, we follow Jesus’ command in Acts 1:8 to reach the world—beginning right where we are and extending to the ends of the earth. Our Acts 1:8 Mission Model guides us to serve locally, nationally, and globally as we share God’s love in word and action.

Jersualem - Local Missions

We believe outreach starts in our own community.
  • Weaver Elementary Partnership: Volunteers serve throughout the school year, assisting teachers, mentoring students, and supporting community projects.
  • ESL Ministry: Free English as a Second Language classes help local residents and refugees learn English and build relationships.
  • Local Partnerships: We also work alongside the Dallas Baptist Association (DBA) and other area churches to impact Dallas.

Judea – Statewide Missions

Each summer, Northlake teams travel across Texas to share Christ’s love through hands-on service. Projects have included hurricane relief, Vacation Bible School, community outreach, and evangelism in places like Port Arthur, Amarillo, and the Texas-Mexico border.

Samaria – U.S. Missions

Beyond Texas, Northlake mission teams serve across the country through Northlake BUILDS, focusing on construction, community service, and partnership support. Past trips include Ohio, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, where volunteers helped churches, camps, and ministries meet physical and spiritual needs.

Ends of the Earth - Global Missions

Our global reach has extended to countries such as Honduras, Guatemala, Romania, Greece, Brazil, and Peru, among others. Teams have served through VBS, community outreach, and partnerships with Buckner International. Northlake also supports missionaries through the International Mission Board (IMB) and individual partners serving in China and beyond.
